That's the whole thing. No catch. No three-paragraph terms and conditions hiding the asterisk. Just a quietly sensible option for people who don't need their fragrance to arrive wearing something it'll never wear again.
WHY WE BUILT IT
Two reasons. We're not going to pretend either is more important than the other, because they aren't.
The planet. Every FOX & WOLF carton is fully recyclable — that part's been true for years. But the most sustainable box is the one that was never made in the first place. By giving you the choice to skip it, we make fewer boxes, use less cardboard, and ship lighter packages. The footprint shrinks. Not in a press-release way. In an actual way.
You. A €1 saving on a single product isn't going to change your life. But it might change your mind. The Naked Option is a small, considered choice that lets you opt out of the bit of luxury fragrance that nobody actually wants — the wrapping that gets thrown away before the product is even lit.
We figured: if we trust you to choose the scent, we can trust you to choose the format.
WHAT YOU STILL GET (NAKED OR BOXED)
This part matters, so let's be clear. The Naked Option doesn't strip away anything that affects the product itself. It only removes the outer carton.
You still get the same hand-poured candle or reed diffuser. The same exclusive paraffin-free wax blend and fragrance oil. The same cotton-and-linen wick. The same heavy glass vessel that's earned its place on your shelf. The same protective packaging that keeps everything in one piece between our studio and your front door. The same care that's gone into every FOX & WOLF product since 2019.
The Naked Option isn't a stripped-back version of the product. It's the same product, just a little less dressed for the journey.
WHY WE DIDN'T JUST MAKE IT THE DEFAULT
Honest answer? Because some of you want the box. And we believe in the box, where the box is doing real work.
A FOX & WOLF candle in its carton is the right object to give as a gift. It's the right object to unwrap on a Sunday morning when you've ordered yourself a treat. It's the right object when presentation is part of the moment.
The carton has a job. We just don't think it has to have a job every time. So instead of taking the choice away from you, we built one more in. Boxed or naked. You decide.

Look for the "Naked" option on any eligible product page — currently rolling out across our 300g candles and 250ml reed diffusers. Click the button. The €1 discount applies automatically. Add to cart. Check out as usual.
If you don't see the option on a particular product, it's because that line isn't part of the Naked range.
OR DON'T. THAT'S ALSO FINE.
Some people love the box. Some people gift our candles and want the full presentation to land properly. Some people just like opening packages, and we are not the brand to judge anyone for that.
If you want the carton, take the carton. It's fully recyclable, it's still made with care, and it's not going anywhere.
The Naked Option isn't us telling you what to choose. It's us giving you one more choice you didn't have last week.
