How to Use Your Candle

The art of the perfect burn. A few simple steps to get the most from every FOX & WOLF candle.

Step One

Before the Burn

Set the stage for perfection. Always place your candle on an even, protected surface. Keep it away from drafts, vents, or anything that flirts with fire. Let us keep things smokin', not dangerous.

Step Two

Snip, Snip

Before every burn, give that wick a trim. 5mm is your magic number. It is the key to a cleaner, safer, and smoke free glow. Plus, it will make your candle last longer. Think of it as candle self care.

Step Three

Let It Burn

Give your candle time to shine. Let the wax melt completely across the surface. It may take 3 to 4 hours, but trust us, it is worth it. A little wax on the outer wall? Totally normal. But remember, never burn for more than 4 hours, and never leave it alone. Safety first, always.

Step Four

Time to Reset

When you are down to the last 2cm of wax, it is time to wrap things up. Pop your candle in the freezer for a few hours and the remaining wax will slide out like a dream. Give the glass a wash with warm soapy water, dry it thoroughly, and it is ready for its second life.

Step Five

Reuse and Upcycle
